Hi! I’m the notorious FF of the not-#8throworbetter scandal…you can bet I learned my lesson after THAT disaster!! I am also responsible for introducing WW to the wonderful world of reading smutty and smexy books, no matter what she claims otherwise.
My first adventures in the world of Romancelandia came when I was probably 10, and I snagged a Harlequin out of a friend’s stash…I was hooked! I even have several copies of the first one I became absolutely addicted to: Reach the Splendor by Judith Duncan! (ca 1984-come on, I was 11.) To this day I still have a preference for the Harlequin Superromance line. Now of course, looking back on how far romances have come in that time…I will share a secret here. I ADORE menage romances…okay, I’m addicted! (Just don’t tell anyone else!) My ‘safe’ addiction is romantic suspense, especially when anyone with a uniform is the hero!!
Favorite authors you ask? Or maybe not, I don’t care but I’m going to tell you anyways! Lexi Blake, Suzanne Brockmann, Jill Shalvis, HelenKay Dimon, Maya Banks, Chloe Neill, Darynda Jones…I could go on!
IRL, I’m a single homebody with only furbabies who loves reading and musical theater. In other words, I’m the crazy bitchy cat lady the neighbors probably make fun of, but then again my cats and books are MUCH better company than they are! I would go see “Phantom of the Opera” daily if I could, and my other musical addiction is Bon Jovi…to whit, to make up for the #8throworbetter fiasco I introduced WW to the wonderful world that is a Bon Jovi concert.
